2012 Under-19 Cricket World Cup

The 2012 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was a one-day cricket competition for sixteen international U-19 cricketing teams which was held in August 2012. This was the ninth edition of the tournament.〔(Past ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Matches ) iccu19worldcup.yahoo.net 15 December 2010〕 The event was staged in the Australian state of Queensland, with matches being shared between the cities of Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Townsville.
In the final, India beat Australia by six wickets to win the tournament. India's Unmukt Chand scored 111 not out, facing 130 balls and was awarded Man of the Final. Australian captain Will Bosisto was awarded Man of the Series.
